Siblings

My oldest son, Philip, was home on leave for a week. He'll be leaving for Iraq on the 20th of November. Here he's holding his little sister, Abby. There's 19 years between the two of them. What constantly amazes me is that no matter how much time she has spent away from Phil, everytime she sees him it's just as if he was never away. Because Phil has been in the Army and has been away most of her short life, I would never have been surprised if she was scared of him or stand-offish, but she isn't. It's such a blessing as a mom to see the close connection all of my children share with each other.
